class sights at your fingertips.
Some of the best recreation areas in the Province are within half an hour of the village, with some world renown attractions can be seen in a day trip when you are staying in our campground.
Champion is 1hr to Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump World Heritage Site, Less than 2hrs to Castle Mountain Ski Resort, Kananaskis Country & Bighorn Lookout, 2hrs to Waterton National Park.
- To Little Bow Provincial Park (14 minutes!): Take Secondary Highway 529 east 16km, then turn south on Range Road 222.
- To Twin Valley Campground (16 minutes!): Take Secondary Highway 529 west 20km, turn right into the campground!
- To Little Bow Resort (22 minutes!): Take Secondary Hwy 529 east 27km, then turn south on Range Road 212.
- To Travers Dam Campground: (27 minutes!): Take Secondary Hwy 529 east 32.5km, then turn south on Range Road 205A.
From the City!!
- Lethbridge (approximately 45 minutes): Highway 3 west to the Highway 23 interchange. Take Highway 23 north to Champion.
- Calgary International Airport (approximately 1.5 hours): Highway 2 south until the Highway 23 interchange located at High River. Proceed east, then south on Highway 23.
